Was school easy or difficult for you? How so?
High school was easy for me – I rarely studied, even in my college-prep classes, and that turned out to be my downfall in college. My second attempt at college, at age 41, was infinitely better. I HAD to study, so I had to teach myself how to do it. My schooling was strictly online through Kaplan University, so I had real-time seminars to attend, message board postings (required), legal briefs to write, etc. My children were in grade school at the time, so they would do homework while I was doing mine.
Studying paid off – I got a BS in Paralegal Studies suma cum laude!
List some of your favorite types of animals.
Oh, I LOVE critters! I adore big dogs, black or tuxedo cats, horses (I love their smell), and all other farm critters. I used to have chickens, ducks, geese, guinea fowl, and turkeys when I lived on my rural property.
What is your favorite large city you have been to? What is the one thing you remember most?
I’m NOT a city girl, however, Chicago has to be the large city I love the most, as it’s my “hometown” city. Although I was born in the ‘burbs, and moved a gazillion times, I consider Chicago “my” city. The museums, the zoo, the lakeshore, the theatre ….. St. Louis, where I live now, will NEVER feel like home.
