What is the most famous landmark or building you have ever seen?
I’ve seen quite a few famous landmarks – Sears Tower in Chicago, IL, for one – but I guess the Gateway Arch in ST. Louis, MO, near where I live, is really quite a marvel. It was built during my lifetime, which amazes me, and the video of how it was made is incredible.
Do you like long vacation or lots of mini-vacations?
I love both. I take a lot of mini-vacations, due to the expense of long vacations, but I try and do one long vacation per year.
What is your favorite National or State Park?
I just can’t have a favorite National or State park — I enjoy them all. I buy a National Parks pass each year and even though I don’t visit National Parks enough to justify the $80 per year, the money goes to help the National Park Service, which keeps these parks going.
What is your fantasy vacation?
The ultimate fantasy vacay is a trip around the world.
Optional Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
I am always eternally grateful for my family, who I’ve spent quite a bit of time with this past week. I had a great time out with my sister on Friday, dancing to some great ’80’s tunes. Hung with the parents, sister, my niece and my great-niece on Sunday. Looking forward to a short work week and more vacay planning.
