Looking out over that precipice is scary, giving us those qualms we all talked about yesterday on The Daily Post prompt. It makes your stomach flippy-flop, so you feel faintly queasy and unsettled. It’s a long way down, and if you fall, it’s gonna hurt. Bad.
But do it anyway. Walk to the edge, toes almost into thin air, and breathe. Push yourself to do the thing that scares you the most, like walking to the edge of the cliff. Take the scary fork in the road and grow.
Now it’s about time I took my own advice. I’m close to the edge. I don’t wanna fall.
I want to fly.
